1981 VW vanagon turns over but gives no effort to start. whats the problem?

Ive been working on this vanagon for about 3 months now. When i parked it, it was running nicely. it started right up after approximately 4 revolutions of the motor. idled fine. its been 2 months since i started it up and when i turned the motor over it will not even attempt to run. Feeling quite guilty about a decision (financial) I made?

Well first things first, I AM NOT A NAZI. The people that have read my previous questions have seen that I'm a bit of a collector when it comes to Third Reich Memorobilia, and all I wanted was to get the complete black allgemeine SS uniform. This was my goal (a stupid one at that), and I promised I would put every dollar I got towards the uniform. Well I got one of the last "major" parts of the uniform: the tunic/jacket, and when I had purchased other nazi related things, my dad casually told me "Just be extremely careful who you share this with" (Damn good advice). I had asked him what he thought of my collecting, and said that he knew I didn't believe in that stuff and I was just a memorobilia collector, which is what I thought of myself. So I worked in the yard trying to make money for the jacket, and I recently purchased the jacket, and this time my dad seemed quite unsure about this purchase, and said something to the effect of "Well I just hope no one thinks that I'm a nazi because I bought this for you, thats all I need" or something of the sort. My dad was very proud of the work I did, and told me so, but it seems like all that hard work went to waste when I got the jacket. Before this instance, I felt no guilt in owning these items, but ever since then, something overcame me and I have felt a terrible feeling of guilt. Tethering a HTC EVO 4G Sprint Phone to a PC?

Anytime I do this to provide Net access to my laptop, it shuts down Sprints network and runs off of WiFi only. I wouldn't need to tether the phone to the laptop if WiFi was available. So is there any way to tether the laptop to the phone and get net access for the laptop WITHOUT having to fork out the extra $60 a month that Sprint wants for the service? OK, I accept that Kepler calculated that the orbits of the planets are not circular, but elliptical. I accept that for bodies as close as we are, both foci may be in the Sun. What I don't understand is WHY the orbits are elliptical. The folks who thought circular weren't all that crazy. There appears, after all, to be only one large focus. Tether balls don't travel in ellipses, do they? I would expect an ellipse in a binary star system. So what's the other focus? Crate training my puppy?

Okay, I just bought a 11 week old puppy. She is wonderful. Very sweet and affectionate, and very smart. She knows to go to the back door to pee and poop, but sometimes she just cant hold it. I understand. There are a couple issues though. The entrance to my living room is very large, and would it be best to keep her tethered so that she doesn't have full roam of the house. There is just not a baby gate large enough to go from wall to wall in the living room. Also, I have a 3 year old dog that I crate trained with minimal effort. Now, I put the puppy in the crate to start her off early, and she FLIPPED out. It literally sounded like I was beating her. Even my husband came in from outside because he though something was wrong. How long should I keep her in it? Maybe like 20 minute intervals, then 30 minute? I know this sounds dumb because I have another dog, but my other dog was nothing like this. She just went right in and that was that. I have a very flexible job and I can bring her to work with me, so I am able to be very diligent about potty training her. Im also very pro-potty training at home as well, She sleeps with me , and every couple hours she wakes up, whines and needs to go out. I know people are going to be upset that I let her sleep with me in bed, but it is what it is. I guess my main question is, how long should I put her in the crate everyday? When I do take her out, she is so scared, it literally takes her about 20 minutes to recover from the trauma. Is this normal? thank you .
