Virgin Mobile USA Tethering?

Using a Android phone on Beyond Talk Plans. Has any one experienced any adverse reaction from VM regarding tethering the mobile phones data to a laptop or other computer? Fine print only mentions 5GB cap with Broadband 2Go plans. lotsof people asking asking, but no confirmed reports. Are they watching, monitoring? Can't say because you will have incriminated yourself?
