What is a good age to introduce youngins to historical things like the Holocaust?

I remember being in third grade and watching things on PBS w/ my father about the history of Nazi Germany, Auschwitz, the SS, and the Third Reich. On Netflix, there is a mini-series about the evolution of Auschwitz. I watched it first, and it really is a good series.
