Help me with my 29 year old son, who is a brilliant musician, but does not work and is still at home with me?

I want to help him achieve all that he can with his music, but I also need him to work to support himself so that he can lead an independent life if he does not make it as a musician. What can I do, Ive tried to talk to him, and help him, but I have reached the end of my tether.
