Do you think I'm a good writer?

I think it's chock full of historical information, but it lacks story. Whilst other stories would include richer details, such as: "Uriel was a genius; his artistic view somehow fit the entire world onto a canvas." These things enlighten the words and bring the story more depth. You need more depth in your story, more similies/metaphors/transitions.
