R&S: Why do so many people who aren't Jews hate the Nazis?

I hate Nazis because of what they stand for and what they did. Not all Germans are Nazis. I have nothing against German people. I do have something against anyone who tries to kill off a whole group of people (whoever those ppl may be) because of ignorant ideology.
