Why did the Nazis open a brothel for Jews?

It was probably used as some kind of 'reward' for those Jews the Nazi regime felt were cooperative, or perhaps a bribe for cooperation. The most telling part I think is the fact the brothel closed due to 'too few requests'. Nazis were not particularly known for their moral fortitude, God bless the Jews for enduring at such a cost.
